Estrogen Patches

Do yours leave marks?

I am on patches #5 & 6 and you can clearly see the 4 other places where I had patches before. There are basically red outlines of the patches on my stomach. They don't itch or bother me at all, I just wanted to make sure that was normal.

Also... how do you get the sticky off? I've been scrubbing the old spots in the shower but some are still sticky!

I don't know about the red marks but there is stuff you can buy in the drug store to get adhesive off of skin. It's around the same spot as bandaids..etc.

Baby oil (any kind of body oil works also)! Works like a charm. Put some on a piece of cotton and it should come right off.

Those patches actually ruined a pair of undies. The sticky stuff got on it (don't know how) and I have an outline of the patch. Those went in the garbage.

I had marks too, and used rubbing alcohol to get the marks off.

I actaully use make up remover to take the crap off... think b/c its oil based... At first I was using Nail Polish Remover... but then I had my nails done and didn't want to mess them up, so I started using the make up remover and it worked even better!!!

Regarding the red lines... YES... i have them too... they don't itch, and its not irretated, but I just have red lil squares for the next few days in which I had the patches previously. But then they fade after like 2 todays. Its kind of good b/c it reminds me where I put the patches 2 days before... lol....
