Short Luteal Phase
I have now been trying for 4 months and have determined that my luteal phase is only 10 days my Dr. says that is a little short. My progesterone levels are good. I tried taking B6 for a month and no change. Does anyone have any reccomendations? What could this mean? I am getting so frustrated I just want to know that things are going to work out. Thanks for all the help.

My LP was 11 days. I took B6 this month but I tested on day 10 and I already had a positive. So, all I can say is that even with a 10 day LP you definitely can get pregnant. But I have also read that you can use progesterone cream. I feel like you should ask you doctor if you could do try that in addition to the B6. If I remember correctly you use the cream twice daily once you have O'd.

i have a luteal phase defect and am on progesterone supplements.. my lutual phase only lasts 9 - 10 days..

I think I have the same problem. I am trying 180mgs of B6 this month. There is also over the counter progesterone cream that I was thinking of trying...
Also, I heard Vitex is good for increasing LP and progesterone levels.
