Sew what have you sewed???
I'm ready to buy a sewing machine and while I know I want to make curtains for the bathroom and pillows for school for my kids to sit on, what are some things you've made? Need ideas!

I don't sew...but my mom has since she was 16. She made my wedding dress (partial pic in profile). She started making "simple" things like pillows, blankets and clothes...she lived on patterns from McCall's and the like.

I recently started sewing.. and am getting pretty good..lol.. I have made a baby memory blanket, a travel diaper and wipes case, a pocket book with ring handles, and I am attempting to make some sheets soon.. lol. I have to find my card reader to post them!
I used my first pattern to do the pocketbook, it was much easier than I thought it would be! HTH

I haven't for a while but I made Pinocchio and Peter Pan costumes for my DH two years we went to Disney for Halloween and I was the Blue Fairy and "Wendy".
