Sesame Place - Review and pics! (overload)
We went to Sesame Place last week, Mon-Tues. We got a package off the SP site that included two 2-day tickets, breakfast w/ Elmo (for 2), and 1 night at The Radisson for $290. (DH believes we could have gotten it cheaper if we booked the hotel separately) DD is just over 2, but we didn't pay for her and no one ever questioned us!
It took us 2 hours (pretty much exactly!) to get there and back, coming from the western north shore. We left at 7:40 on Mon morning and headed home at about 2 on Tuesday.
The park is really nice - very clean and well kept. It's definitely small enough to do in 1 day. DD loved the Ernie pool the best and would have gladly stayed there all day!  We saw less characters than I thought we would, but I don't know if we were just in the wrong place at the wrong time, etc.
The breakfast with Elmo was pretty good. Well, the food itself was rather disgusting, but we weren't expecting much.  Elmo, Big Bird, Zoe, Ernie, and Bert were there, with Elmo and Big Bird just available for pictures - the other 3 came around to the tables. If we go again next year, we won't do the breakfast again, but it's probably worth it for a 1st visit (but definitely not essential).
Overall, it was a great trip and DD had a blast! I'm happy to answer any questions!

You already know that I LOVE these pics!!!! Seriously, it looks like you guys had an AWESOME time, and thanks for the review!!!!!!!! I will NOT, I repeat, NOT be wearing a bathing suit there-- do I have to?? 
Love, love, love that pic of K striking a pose-- frame that one!!! Totally looks like she's working it-- what are you teaching her?

Thanks for the review! Looks like you had a great time! Weve been thinking about going with DS, but I think hes still too young (22 mos)...what age do you think is appropriate to take DC now that youve been there?

Thanks for the review. I am so sorry that I don't have time to do go there this year. DS loves the Sesame Street characters. I definitely have to plan this for next year.

You don't *have* to ... but wear something that dries quickly in case you do get wet (we also went on the lazy river, which you would NEED a bathing suit for - but you can easily avoid that. ). If you see, I'm wearing a bathing suit top (basically, a tank top) and a skirt on the bottom. What about something like that??
Love, love, love that pic of K striking a pose-- frame that one!!! Totally looks like she's working it-- what are you teaching her?

I think 22 mos is perfect! If your DS likes Sesame Street and pools and/or sprinklers, he'll love it! My DD was only JUST 2 (24 mos) when we went. Go for it!

It served our needs! The room was big which was nice, so we were able to put DD's pack 'n play on the other side of the room. We did have a couple of 'housekeeping' issues, but they were promptly fixed, for the most part.
