Haven't read that one--I read "The Man Who Walked Between the Towers". I told them that I felt like reminiscing about something joyful that happened concerning the towers, rather than to focus too long on the tragedy. That's not to "make light" of the tragedy at all, but I feel that since it was our first read-aloud of the day, I didn't want to set that kind of a tone for the day.

We read this too today!!
My kids always love it! It puts a different spin on it. Tomorrow I will read September 12th.
