SAHMs what time do YOU get up & go to sleep

I only excluded working Moms since you're obviously on a very specific schedule.

Ive always been a night owl, its very hard for my to go to bed early, and even moreso now that I have 3 small kids, I never feel like I have enough time to keep the house clean, laundry, projects, etc. Sometimes I go to sleep at 1am or later...

But last night I was so tired and fell asleep at 9:30pm. This morning I got up at 4:30, actually rolled out of bed around 5ish and I feel great!! The baby got up around 5:30 and we've been hanging out since and Im getting a jump on morning stuff before my other 2 wake up, which will be between 6:30 and 7:00 Im guessing.

Im wondering how everyone works it in their house. I wish I could do that more often but that was really a rarity to go to bed so early.

I'm going to answer even though I'm not technically a SAHM. I only work Fri, Sat & Sun though. So, I too usually end up staying up until almost midnight. By the time I get everything cleaned up from dinner and then maybe do another thing or 2, it is about 10 or 11 and then I have to say that I do enjoy watching some TV. It's killing me though! DD gets up around 6:30am so I'm really not getting enough rest. I was just telling DH that I really need to start getting to bed earlier. We'll see what happens.

It's a team effort at our house so we're able to get chores done earlier. After dinner I play with the baby while DH cleans up dishes and starts her bath, then we bathe her and put her down. We stay up for a another hour or two after that and watch maybe one tv show to unwind. We go to bed around 10 and then I get up with DD at 6:30. I don't get a lot of housework done but I can't imagine being even more tired so I'm not giving up anymore sleep to stay up and do things. Plus DH gets up at 5 so he's not staying up at night with me so I might as well go to bed with him. I've just started feeling like I'm getting back something of a normal sleep schedule.

I am a SAHM but also work from home.

Since I am pregnant I am so tired by the end of the day I am in bed aby 9:00pm and get up at 7:00-7:30am.

I work in the afternoon...

So Kerri and I both get up at 7AM

ETA: I go to bed between 10-11PM...although some nights it is earlier

Normal bed time is around 11. And I almost never get up unless one of the kids wake me

I'm up anywhere from 6:30-7:15am. Go to sleep on a normal night around 11-12ish.

I was just thinking about this last night, I usually get to bed around 12. I always say I'm going to get in there earlier but DS goes to bed at 8pm, by the time I do a few things around the house to prepare for the next day and watch some TV with DH and of course come on LIF it's always around 12. I guess it's not that bad b/c DS doesn't get up until 7:30-8

Up at 630am DD up at 730am, bed at 730pm for DD and 11pm for me. I need time to get bottles, laundry and housekeeping done.

not a SaHM, but my schedule varies each day. Today I was up early (6:30) because I had an appt, but generally I get up around 9:30-10am.

I'm a night owl, so I'll be up till 11 or 12. Ella wakes up around 6/6:30 and will usually go back to sleep right after eating.

But since Al works from home, he generally gets up with her in the morning, and I sleep in.

I wake up with her....normally around 7-7:30am but the past few days she's been waking around 8am or a little later.

Bedtime....usually between 10 and 11pm.

We've always had an early schedule here.

Usually I'm up with Emily at 6:45 AM or so. I try and get to bed by 10 but sometimes I'm up til 11 pm.

Typical day we're up around 7am and I usually go to bed around 11pm, sometimes later.
DH is up before then so my sleep usually gets interrupted by his alarm at 6. DH sleeps in on Saturdays and I sleep in on Sundays.

i usually go to sleep between 11-12 and get up when she wakes up at 7:30 -8am

I'm really bad. I go to bed at 1 or sometimes 2. I wake up at 9 when Jared gets up. I guess I really don't need that much sleep.

I'm a total night owl too. I am always up late, usually until midnight or later. DH works late though, so our night together doesn't begin until 10 p.m. sometimes. And Andrew goes to bed about 9 p.m. Lauren about 8:30.

Both kids sleep in until sometime between 9-10. This morning, Lauren woke at 9:15 and I got up. It's 9:50 now and Andrew is still sleeping. No one here is a morning person at all!

i usually stay up until 1030-11. Hannah gets fed in her sleep around this time. So once she is done I hit the sack. If she sleeps thru the night, I usually get up when she wakes (630 or so). But lately she has been getting up during the night I try to do chores and stuff during the day. I work 3x week and my DH helps out as much as he can on the weekends.

my bedtime is 10 - 11p. my lil girl still gets up between 2-3 for a feeding, goes back to sleep and wakes ups at 7-7:30. she normally goes to bed at 8-8:30p.

im a morning person, and so are my boys. my whole house is up by 7am, sometimes earlier.

Ive always been an early-to-bed person, but lately im up till 11-midnite easily... just catching up on things, quiet time with my hubby.. I guess my body's adjusted to less sleep..

the boys are in bed by 8pm (we just moved it from 9 to 8 )
but theyve been getting up nites to come in our bed and we just dont seem to hate it enough to fight it... some bad habits are just fun.. i love touching their faces in the middle of the nite (mostly to make sure theyre not under a pillow... and we BARELY fit in the bed but they wont be doing this when theyre married... so what the heck )

We are all night owls in our house. Technically I'm not a SAHM but I work part-time at night. It gets very hard to readjust your schedule to days when you work overnight. I go to bed around 1-2am so does my DH. DD depending on who puts her to bed (my dh tends to think its playtime anywhere between 10-11pm which keeps her wired) DD goes to sleep between 10ish-12ish (shamefully I have not been motivated to aim for an earlier bedtime) She gets up around 6-7am to eat then goes back to sleep til around 10-11am and then I'll drag myself out of bed. So yes even with a baby I get lots of sleep!

Well since Julia sleeps with us, she usually goes to be around 10ish, and we dont wake up till like 9:30-10am. I think we are getting too much sleep cause by the afternoon we are tried again--lol

I'm in bed by 10-10:30 and up between 6:30-7 when DD gets up.

I go to sleep at 11:30 and get up at around 7, when Nicholas wakes up.
