SAHM question...
Well it looks as if my dream has come true. My husband told me he does not want me returning to work, and that I have his full blessing to be a SAHM to our little boy. I am so overjoyed as I did NOT want to return to work. I know everyone is different and some women love going back and having that escape but not me...I wanted to be the one to be with him all the time (i hesitate to say "raise" him as I would still think i was raising my son even if i did daycare).
My question though is this....what do you all do for extra income, if at all? I am looking into options that there may be to bring in some extra cash. Any ideas/suggestions?? I thought about watching a child for extra $$ but that might be too much right now...

congrats. i got to do this for one year after my first. it's so fun to watch them go thru everything they do! babysitting is the only thing i can think of to gain extra income though. unless you want to bartend one nite a week or something.

Thanks :) The problem with bartending is that i'm likely to be filling my own drinks all night, lol!!! JK.
I think i'll look into the childcare seriously...maybe someone will need someone part time?? There is hope!!

i am not a SAHM yet, no baby yet..but DH works nights, so I totally want to be a night babysitter. I think once the baby is a few weeks old and I feel comfortable, I will put an add on craigslist. good luck!
