Root Canal.. Q?
having a root canal done today... how bad is it really??
I asked the dentist if I would be able to drive afterwards, he told me yes, but I am still a little concerned... so I asked FH to go with me, but since he just got back from a business trip last night, he has tons to do in the office today and can't come with me...
am I being selfish that I feel a little mad?? It's like work is more important than my safety!?

You will be fine to drive. Its really not as bad as people make it out to be. I fell asleep during mine!

Dh has had plenty of them- and he always drives himself. You should be OK.

I just had the first half done last week and it honestly was not bad at all. I am getting part 2 done tomorrow. The only thing that hurt was the novacane shots. My tooth was sore after the novacane wore off but my dentist gave me some good pain killers

Aww Im sorry. You really will be OK if you go alone, just the same as if you went for a filling, you can drive yourself home. All you get is novacaine. Try not to worry, it will be over soon!
