Ring finger swollen and painful. Help!
out of the blue, my ring finger started hurting a few days ago. It was slightly swollen but nothing serious. fast forward to today. I can't even straighten it out it hurts so much. I did not jam it or hurt it at all, this is out of nowhere. I can't get a dr appt for today so i am making my DH take me to the ER tonight when he gets home. Has this happened to anyone before, where your finger all of a sudden just started hurting and kept ketting worse?

Is it possible that you're having an allergic reaction to something?
Maybe I'm just super aware of it because I currently have it...but could it be cellulitis? That's how mine started...painful and swollen. Is it red or hot at all?
Maybe you could go to an immediate medical care place so you can ease your find before tonight. Feel better soon

I thought maybe cellulitis too after reading your post but it's not red or hot :/. I am going to go te the urgent care when DH gets home instead of the ER. But I have no one to watch my kids so I can go now :(

same thing happened to me about a month ago
after 3 days the swelling went down and it could start to move it again
I think it was a bug bite- I woke up this way on a monday- I iced it and didn't use it
then I found a crazy dead bug under one of my decorative pillows on my bed
