Staff is great...everyone is very helpful and accomdating and I feel very comfortable here. No complaints at all.
I got a private room- for me it is so worth it. The privacy is really great for the recovery process- especially the private bathroom!!

Now maybe u can explain to me what contractions feel like, b/c I'm so confused. The doctor asked me today if I was having them since losing my plug and I had no idea. I just know I feel awful today.
Well, enough about me...
Can't wait to see the pics and so glad it went well for you.
Basically for me they felt like sharp tightening in the lower abdomen. They'd last about a minute then subside, then come back a few minutes later.
They weren't UNBEARABLE- but painful enough that I couldn't sleep the night before I gave birth.
(I'm a kidney stone sufferer though so to me the contractions weren't even close to the pain of a stone!)
The feeling was definitely different than the overall uncomfortable feeling of the end of pregnancy.
I didn't have any back pain and to me they didn't feel like menstrual cramps- more of a sharp intense spasm.
But i know everyone is different.
