recommendations please

My sis is getting married october 11th.

We need a hair stylist that can do about 4-5 girls' hair and come to our house.

We need someone who works with extensions and my sis needs a trial obviously.

I used Jen the hair genie for my wedding and we were not too impressed.

I used Jillian of Goreous faces for my wedding day make up but she also has a team of two sisters (Hair by Sarah and Bridget) who do hair.

They do really nice work and I would have loved to have had them do my hair but I had already booked someone else. In the end I should have cancelled who I originally booked and used Jillian's team.

I was going to suggest the HAir Genie. I used her and had NO PROBLEMS and LOVED her work. What was the issue? Just curious.

I just used Lauren at Cactus in Northport. SHe was super reasonable $$$$. SHe came to me and will bring an asst depending on the # of girls. She put my sister's extensions in and another girl who works with her makes custom extensions if you need them....colors them to match you hair.

I used her for my wedding & loved her. She sells her own real hair extensions which she will match perfectly to your hair. I loved what she did and i loved my hair with the extensions. ( we didn't go over board- it was very natural.)

I used Elisa (I think that's how it's spelled) from Two Stephen Street in Plainview (she travels)..she came to me early and my hair did NOT come out until I took it out..it was incredible!!



ETA focus on the hair, not on that look on my face..haha...

I used Fresh Face Forward and couldn't have been happier! They did my makeup for my wedding, and then all the girls makeup for my best friend's wedding in May. They're doing my other friend's wedding next Sunday... totally reasonable, prompt, and they did an amazing job! They are a vendor on LIW..good luck!
