RAVE - We are in Williamsburg, VA and OMG, what a great vacation so far for the kids!

We went to Busch Gardens on Sunday, did lunch with the Sesame St characters which DS (3) and my nephew (2) LOVED LOVED LOVED. They had a blast in the park and loved the Sesame St area of the park.

We did the Yankee Candle Flagship store on Monday and we were there for HOURS. The kids had a blast, so much for them to do. Eddie dipped his hand in paraffin, made his own candle, painted a pumpkin and saw Santa all while we were there. Also in the flagship store, there is a toy store, a Dylans Candy bar, and area set up and decorated as Christmas year round where is "snowed" inside.

Then we did Colonial Williamsburg which I thought could be lost on DS but he LOVED it. He loved the dancing, the horse drawn carriages, exploring the old houses, running around on the giant lawns, they had a bull just roaming the street (with his trainer) and he loved him.

Tomorrow we are doing the winery and the brewery with Pumpkin Picking. We are staying at the Historic Powhatan Resort. Its GORGEOUS here. Indoor and outdoor pool, mini golf course, game room, lakes and the condo is GORGEOUS! We exchanged our timeshare week through RCI to come here. I was thinking the trip may have been "too old" for DS, but he is having a blast. I HIGHLY recommend it. Plus it was a super easy and quick 7.5 hour drive down.

That is awesome, I never would have thought they'd enjoy these sites at such a young age!!
