Quick question...do i let him sleep?

I feel really horrible right now.

I let him cry for 10 minutes in his crib b.c he was refusing to nap and getting very overtired.

Well now he is sleeping...I went in to cover him with a blanket and of course he pooped..so he is sleeping in a dirty diaper.

I just feel this guilt, I don't know what is wrong with me. We have been going through such a tough time with his sleep lately, and its taking a toll on me Chat Icon

I guess I should let him sleep??? I hate that he is laying in it...

let him sleep....if he's going to wake up if you change him, do NOT. Let him sleep a minimum of an hour. anything less than 60 min is not really a nap.

I would let him sleep...Think about it this way... if you didn't go in to cover him with the blanket you would never have known!

He isn't prone to rashes, but his bum will def. get red...

And yes, he'll wake up and won't go back down...he's been putting me through torture with napping, it takes a lot to get him down and if i wake him up i feel that'll be it...and he naps only once a day now, which is the problem..

I think i'll let him sleep and i guess he'll wake up on his own. I hate this feeling.

let him sleep...just be sure to clean it up when he wakes up. had he fallen alseep normally you wouldn't have gone in and discovered the diaper and he would've been fine.Chat Icon

Honestly....think of it this way, IF its bothering him, he will not sleep through it....so if hes sleeping, its not bothering him that much. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
