Question for a friend about her gassy 6 week old
My friend has a 6 week old son that is still a bit gassy even after all the formula changes...besides the mylicon (Sp?) drops what els is their? TIA

I've heard of Zantac. She should ask the doctor first if she can give the baby that. I give my DS mylicon drops when he's gassy.

I've heard of Zantac. She should ask the doctor first if she can give the baby that. I give my DS mylicon drops when he's gassy.
zantac is for reflux not gas.
She can try bicycling his legs while he is on his back, hold him in the "football" hold, gripe water works for some people too.

what bottles is she using?? i would suggest dr.browns bottles. as soon as we switched bottles for our dd the gas was gone.

all babies have some gas, not all babies have reflux.

all babies have some gas, not all babies have reflux.
True...reflux involves spitting up as well...
