Question about Maternity Leave?
I can't find anything documented in my corporate HR books about "Maternity Leave" Policy. However, there is a ton on their "Short Term Disability" policy.
Anyone know if Maternity Leave typically equals Short Term Disability?

Not always. Every company has different standards in terms of pay scale, etc.
I would ask your HR rep for further clarification

OMG - then I think I get up to 4 months of paid leave! 
ETA: I will have to confirm with HR at some point, but it is definitely too soon to do so.

Pregnancy/maternity is not considered a disability.
I would check with your HR rep.

Oh... darn. If this is true, then because there is no documented policy, I only think I get vacation time.
