Question about changing formulas

DS was on Alimentium powder since birth. DD had a milk allergy and DS was having issues with reflux so we just thought it was best to be safe.

Anyway we just finished the last case and I don't want to spend the extra $$ anymore because he's NOT milk allergic and he's off the reflux meds.

I switched him to the regular Enfamil (yellow label) powder and now he's wakign up crying alot at night again. I'm not sure if it's related but the waking up started the same night we changed formulas. Could it be constipating him? He's on lactulose for chronic constipation I can try to up the dosage, but I just wanted to know if anyone else had issues with regular Enfamil. Maybe I should try some other kind/brand?

Thoughts???

Re: Question about changing formulas

DD did not do good on Enfamil with Iron (reg) so I used Goodstart and never had a prob.
If you baby has a prior condition I would discuss w/Dr before changing anything.

Thanks! What issues did your DD have with the Enfamil with Iron?

The ped said it was ok to take him off the Alimentum. He even suggested starting milk now (he's almost 11 months), but said I could stay on formula for a couple of months if I prefererd.
