PSA: Don't leave your dog in the car!
(i put this here because non-pet owners should be aware too)
I have personally dealt with people who are either so ignorant or just so careless that they leave their animals in the car...while they shop or eat out here in the Hamptons...luckily in my cases I found the owners, gave them an earful & the dogs were fine...but please..do NOT do this!! And if you do see a dog in the car & its hot out (even with windows open it gets hot inside)...find or call a law enforcement person..they can help!

 People who do this are morons...no excuses. It gets hot FAST in a car in this weather...how would they feel...

My first instinct when I see a dog left in a hot car by their DB owner is to take a brick and break their window so the poor dog can get some air!!! 
But seriously- how ignornant can you be.
People should need to take an IQ test before owning a pet!

yep when i worked at walbaums sure enough you walk out for a break and there is a dog baking in the heat with windows down just a crack. I would go on the loud speaker and call the owner out basically. I got written up for it but i didn't care.

Thank you for posting this! I can't stand when I see these poor animals trapped in cars even with the windows cracked.

Where are they living, under a rock???? Why do people insist on doing this? I guess they jsut don't care about their pet. Nevermind heat stroke or death, what about someone stealing the dog???
