Professional Pictures - how many times
in the first year did you take your baby for professional pictures (Picture People, Target, Kiddie Kandids, etc)?

I went at 6 weeks, 3 months, Christmas, 6 months Easter, 9 months and will at a year. After that I will go Christmas, Spring and their birthday.
I have gone to Kiddie Kandids all but once and was not thrilled with Sears the one time I went there. I am also very happy with Kiddie Kandids.

Well so far we did 4 weeks, christmas, easter and 6 months. I was going to do 9 months but she hasn't changed all that much from 6 months and isn't crawling so we're just going to wait for her 1 year pictures now.

At 3 weeks, we had someone take pics in our home...I went to JCPenney at 2 and 4 months, Picture People for 3 and 6 months...did a pic with DH's nieces at 7 months for Mother's Day @ Kiddie Kandids...
and I think I am taking her to Picture People on Friday for her 9 month/Father's Day pics...
I really wanted to show her progression for the whole year...
DH thinks I am nuts...

I'm a bad mommy.... I took Nate when he was 2 months and never picked them up. I want to take him for 1yr pictures, but still haven't found the time to do it.

My original plan was to do 3, 6, 9, and 12. I did 3 & 6 and well, 9 mos came and flewww by... and I didn't have a chance to take him and for some reason I can't stop beating myself up about it now that 12 mos is just around the corner.

I am soooo bad! I haven't taken them yet. I took some really good pictures myself and blew them up for the wall.
With my first son, I took him 3,6,9 and 12, also Christmas.

I took Julia for every holiday except St. patricks day. I will be taking her this week for her pic's for her daddy for his fathers day present, and for her 1st b-day pics too!

So far 1 month, 3 months, next will be her in her christening dress then 6months, 9 months/halloween christmas/birthday.. I may only have one and I am a picture person!

we did 8 weeks and Easter I did myself since it was not in the budget. I want to do 6 months but that's next month and right before we come up to NY, so it might not happen.
But I will most def. do Halloween and Christmas since that is right before her 1 yr.

as a newborn they came to the house,
(he also went to the school photographer @ 6 weeks... but the pics came out horrible, and I didnt order any)
then @ 3 months
@ 6 months
we are going at the end of the month for 9 month pics
and we will go @ 1 yr.
The newborn ones I paid for
I only went @ 3 months for a xmas pic
6 months one was practically free- since it was the school photographer (who dosent a great job btw)
9 months.... well I got a kiddie kandids gc @ my shower, and it expirs next month... so I gotta use it...
and 1 yr because- well its his 1st bday- and I think its important....

I took her for Christmas at 3 months.
6 month photos as well.
Probably won't do it again until a year although I'm considering doing Christening photos.
Plus we are doing a family shot soon, grandparents, siblings, and grandchildren.
I always go to target but we'll probably go to picture people or sears for the family shot.

We took Ava at 4 weeks, 3 months, 5 months, 7 months, and 8 months......She is 9 months today so I'll probably take her again soon for some summer shots and then again at a year.

I have not taken Michael YET
and he is 10 months
I don't think its bad,
I take so many myself.
I think maybe I will go for one soon around his Bday in August,
but not sure or maybe ask my BIL to take some with his camera - not digital.
if i decide to go - where would you ladies say is the best with a good deal

Would like a nice natural B&W

I heard a lot of people go every month for the 1st year. I wanted to but it was so expensive. I took Ryan in July (he was 2 weeks) then again in Aug. for his Christening pics then Sep for the Fall then Oct for Halloween then Dec for Christmas then agin at the end of Feb for St. Pattys Day and now I will take him for 1st B-day. I know I'm nuts!!!!
