Private room at restaurant for 7 adults & 2 kids?
Does anyone know a good restaurant in Nassau where I could have a private room for 7 adults and 2 small children? It is for a bday. Thanks!

Can't help with Nassau but I know the Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip has several different party rooms and one is about that size.

Piccolo Bussola in Mineola has a side area that is seperate from the rest of the restaurant. Family style Italian.

some of the melting pot restaurants have private sections that you can reserve.

We had a private room at the one in Farmingdale. There were only 4 of us, but it looked like it could easily fit 9 people!

This is the only place I can think of that can accommodate a small party like that with a private room.
Some steakhouses may. I know Prime in Huntington can accommodate 15-20 in a private room.

Milleridge Inn... they have rooms in all sizes. I am quite sure they could accommodate that.

It's on the Nassau/Suffolk border, but Black Forest Brew Haus has a small room right in the front of the restaurant you might be able to book.

ABSOLUTELY go with Tavern 18!
They have a 'secret' room - the rose room. You would never it's know it's even there. It's a private dining room with one long table. It's specifically for a party of the size you describe. There is no fee for using the room - you order off the menu, but you have a completely private room.
Cuisine is New American - we've eaten there loads of times and have never had a bad meal.

Not Nassau, but Mac's Steakhouse in Huntington has a "wine room" that seats up to 12 people. We've used it a few times for smaller parties

Can anyone recommend anywhere else? I am specifically interested in a place in Nassau County. I called them all, and I am interested in Jewel, Black Forest Brew Haus, and Mac's. But I want to know if there are any other places
