I need an Italian restaurant in Nassau - classy, good food, private room
A lot of people asked this question and this is what I have gathered:
1)pencenzo - NHP
2)Sergios - Massapequa
3) 7th Street Cafe
4) Per un angelo
5) Testerosa Syosset
6)Stressa - Manhasset
7) Luigi's - NHP
8) La Viola - Syosset
9)La Parma - Merrick
10) City Cafe - Garden city
I'd like something that isn't HUGE but can hold
25-30 people - it's my parents 40th.
My gramma says the food MUST be good lol..
Video equipment would be a plus (for a slide show).
Please tell me what you think is the classiest, tastiest and most private place on the list.

LA MARMITE. The food is amazing and they have two rooms!!! It's in Williston Park
Sorry just saw your post about picking the one on the list. I think Stresa is good. FYI - they also have a huge place in Syosset now.

I love the food at Luigi, but I am not sure about the space for a party of 30. The room in the back might hold that, but I don't like the setup of the room for a private party so much, especially if you want a slide show.

The food at Sergios in Massapequa is supposed to be fabulous..i've never been but i've heard that from more than one person

Ate at Testarossa about 2 weeks ago and they are not as good as they used to be. Before that, I was there about 2 years ago.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Buongusto in Roslyn....everyone raved. It's our favorite place. Has excellent food, private room, and all around great place.

My vote is for either
1) Sergio's - The food is fabulous & Mike the owner is great to work with
2) La Parma but in Oceanside - We had DH's MBA dinner there. Private room & great food

You should check out Nick & Maggie's in Floral Park then. Food is excellent and they have a nice private room (we had our RH dinner there). They also have video/audio equipment, because they have corporate mtgs there sometimes. You won't be disappointed!

La Parma is great. I also only been to the one in Williston Park.I don't know if the food tastes the same in all locations.

WHat about Matteo's in Bellmor
There is a resturant in Roslyn that i can not remember the name of right now... it is really good we went to a rehersal dinner there..
All the food at all the La parma's are the same..II and III are owned by former waiters or La PArma in Willison park
