Hopefully this wedding will be televised like his parent's wedding! I was too young to appreciate the pomp & circumstance of Princess Diana's wedding.

And she knows if she marries him she will be Queen too.
Queen E. apparently will not pick Charles (because of Camilla) but William to be the next King.

Thats not strictly true,. the real reason is because of Chuckies age. He is already in his mid sixties, and if Lizzy lives as long as her mother did, he will be in his mid 80's by the time his coronation would take place. also, Prince Charles has his finger in a heck of a lot of different things, he has a huge organic food company, he is involved in organic property development, and his Duchy is very successful in general. Wills is a better candidate because of his age and his appeal to younger people (thats just my opinion) I am not a royalist, but I do enjoy following the Royal Family!

Charles is the heir to the throne as the Crown Prince -- but Camilla would not be referred to as Queen. She can never have that title.
William is 2nd in line after his father.
Chances are when the Queen passes on Charles will be named King and Camila will only be known as the Duchess of Cornwall.

So exciting! We were living in England when his parents got married and we watched Princess Diana's procession to the Cathedral from my uncle's office in London. It's one of my earliest, clearest memories, so much fun and such a happy day! I still have the souvenir my parents bought me that day.
I can't wait to wake up early with my DD who will be almost the same age I was to watch this wedding.

i'm flucking OBSESSED with the royals - i love specials on them when they are on TV. i just LOVE william - and i think him and his brother are soooo diana and i think she did such a great job w/ them! i'm just so excited - i think kate is a great choice, a real person, and so much like his mom in that way.
