Price to cut the grass???
Marcelos Landscaping told me $23 a week to cut the lawn, what does other landscapers charge, and is that a good price?

Ours just went up to $40 for a half acre and they also use the weed-wacker around the edges and blow the crap off the patio, driveway, etc.

We stopped using a landscaper this year but last year he charged us $26. We have a corner property, avg size for Nassau county if that helps you get an idea.

We are paying $35 for a 1/3 of an acre (as fuel went up they added surcharges.)

We're on a 75x100 lot and we paid $26/week last year. I think this year it's the same, we haven't gotten an invoice yet.

Can you blame them, it is amazing how much $$$$ they spend on gas due to the increases of prices. They have to make a living too.

My BIL's company used to charge us $20/week. It was a steal.
My dh does it now himself but we are looking for someone to thatch our lawn and re-seed it as it is a mess!!
Any suggestions??!!

That is about what we were charged. Seems like the going rate in Levittown.

We pay a $1000 for the year and it includes all of the above, weekly cutting, they planted shrubs for us, turned over our lawn and planted new seed.
