Isn't that the main character in Clan of the Cave Bear? I like that alot too. We are looking at "A" names for this PG.

YES you are 100 % correct!!!! Ayla was her name....... My DD is named Ayla. Her name means strong and secure. My 3rd DD's name is Amelia. We seem to like similar names. My oldest DD is Aviana. All "A's"
It's obvious that i like unique names.

It's pronounced Ah-vi-ah-na.
Her name is definitely unique. She gets complimented all the time on it.

I wanted to name Ayla, Fiona. I love Fiona. However when I told my 7 year old at the time that I wanted to name her little sister Fiona...she said......you mean my sister is going to be an ulger? She immediately assosciated the name with shrek. kids!

My DH has a cousins with each of the three names above. I also like Luciano which is another cousin.

Well, my favorite for a boy would be my son's name, Asher.
It's actually a very traditional Hebrew name, but you don't hear it very often.

I LOVE Charlotte (call her Charlie for short), but DH doesn't like it and it's a bit long for our last name...
I also like Sydney, Juliette, Alyssa, Danielle, Julianna...
For boys, my tastes tend to run traditional and/or popular, but my girlfriend's son is Kamren...which I love

I like the name Raina (or Reyna) for a girl but I'm not sure it's a "real" name...
I'm toying w/it b/c we will be naming w/an R but I don't think DH will be on board.

For a girl:
Genevieve
Lena (which is probably what I will name my next baby if it's a girl)
Evie (pronounced E V.. but I'm not sure about the spelling)
For a boy:
Rocco (but DH refuses)
Carmine (my DS's name).. it's so traditional, but uncommon, so I say it becomes non-traditional
Micah (like.. Mike-uh...which is what I will name my next baby if it's a boy)

lol i never in a million years thought i would have a daughter (i know its dumb obviously we had a 50/50 chance lol but i always saw myself with boys)
Anyway, i woulda LOVED to name her Harleigh...and so figuring i would never have one, i got my son a kitten last xmas, and named him that hahahahaha
Now i cant use it!

Prob my favorite boys name along with Carmine (Hubby vetoed carmine all together and I'm working on Francesco- he's starting to like it)
