Post baby thank yous and announcement cards--a question

So I feel really sh!tty that E-man is 3 weeks old and I have yet to begin the announcement process nor have a I sent out one post birth thank you out.

Do you think I could simply add TY notes within the announcements once I get those out?

I did separate thank yous as gifts came in (or within a few days). I never considered doing a joint announcement/thank you. However, my announcements only went out today and DC are 7 weeks old already Chat Icon

Wait, do you mean put a thank you note in with the announcment, like in the same envelope? I think that would be ok.

I didn't send out announcements until DD was about 6 weeks old. I was recouping from my c-section, adjusting to being a Mom and in general disarray. I tried out as many Thank You cards to those who brought gifts over when they saw the baby, but I'm sure I missed a few. i am usually excellent at sending out Thank You cards, so hopefully, I was forgiven!

I think that's ok but I'd do it asap. Some people are weird about getting thank yous right away.
