I would say Miami/South Beach.
A few years ago, my GFs and I stayed in Ft. Lauderdale and we went to Key Largo one day. It was maybe an 1 - 1.5 hr drive from Ft. Lauderdale. We also went to Miami/South Beach a couple of days. It was only a 30 min drive, but we really wished we stayed there.
