Please post pics of rooms with antiques...

Sometimes I feel like I am mixing antique pieces and modern pieces. I have an antique wood burning stove and a Singer sewing machine thats about 75+ yrs. old...but then I think the mirror in the room is a bit too modern.

Would love to see pics of antique pieces you have and how your rooms look.

I just was in the cast iron district in NYC... and almost all buildings / shops are like that... 19th century meets 21st...

we have ultra modern tastes / furniture, and are about to start a bidding process on a 19th century salt box home... with a lot of architecture requiring restoration, but they're still originals... we're looking forward to it!

thanks.... they accepted our offer today now I only have to hold my breath for a couple months until we close

you know where you can get a lot of ideas of modern furniture w/ old architecture? Loft architecture mags.... most lofts are in 19th century buildings and have original floors or walls or windows....
