Please list all the little tricks to TTC

I know about the Robitussin - I just don't remember when I should start taking it.

I know about the baby aspirin - again - just don't know when to start taking it.

I'll up my dosage of Barilla pasta - because why the hell not - I'm always up for some pasta!

What are some of the other tricks I can do this month? I didn't get AF yet - but I feel like she's coming - so I need to be prepared for her arrival and my gameplan for next month!

TIA! Chat Icon

Evening primrose oil tablets taken from CD1 until you ovulate can help to increase EWCM

Eating at least 1 serving of full fat dairy helps to prevent ovulatory infertility

Green tea leeches folic acid levels from the body so it shouldn't be consumed when TTC or pregnant.

Ok - the Instead Cup kind of freaks me out. Has anyone used this?

Okay so here's the deal with Instead Cups.

They are made for AF - but you can use them after you BD to try to help keep the sperm near the cervix.

We used them for two months. They are easy to get in and fairly simple to get out. There's actually a whole buddy group on FF about them.

You can also use them and have DH just "do his thing" into the cup and then insert it. Of course that's not as good as BDing - but better than nothing IMO.

As with anything, you'll always have people for or against them.

We basically used them as a last effort after MANY months of TTC and DH feeling the pressure of having to BD on command.

Ok..what the heck does Barilla pasta have to do with TTC? Chat Icon Chat Icon

Also make sure you do the correct cough medicine! You want an expectorant.

And third, you SHOULD NOT be taking baby aspirin unless you have a clotting disorder. I have thrombophilia and take it to prevent clots when TTC and everyday ...but many people have slight NON clotting disorders and taking the baby aspirin can seriously hurt you if you have never been tested for anything like that. I would seriously stop them asap.

Some good ideas were posted on the other "works" thread.

Also get the book I mentioned in that thread, it explains it ALL and you will seriously ( and maybe unfortunatly Chat Icon know everything you ever wanted and didnt want to know after reading it...LMAO!)
