I had my wedding at Milleridge Inn (Jericho) and it was lovely. We were really happy with the arrangements. Everything ran very smoothly, and we even got to eat! The food was good, and our cake was fantastic.
George Washington Manor (Roslyn) is owned by the same people, and I think they would do a good job as well. Both places have a variety of rooms.
The prices I had are out-of-date now, but they were very reasonable compared to other places we looked at on the island.

both my bridal shower and my parents 25th anniversary parties were held at Sal's Place on Hicksville Road (the old MVPs) - great space, awesome food, reasonable prices and people still talk about both parties and how great everything was - definitely check them out

Mine was at Minado in Carle Place. Its a sushi and Japanese food buffet. It was an Asian themed shower.

I just hosted a 70th B-day party at Wickers in Hicksville....it was excellent. The food was great, and staff were very attentive. Everything was wonderful and everyone had a great time.

I had my sisters shower at The Inn at New Hyde Park in November. It was amazing! They were so easy to work with. The room looked beautiful and the menu was fantastic. People were very impressed with the choices and the service.
I highly recommend them!

My bridal shower was held at Trinity Restaurant (no relation to my screen name!) on Jericho Tpke in Floral Park. They did a wonderful job. The food is excellent- and it was a really good price! We loved it so much there that we had our rehersal dinner there- and we had an equally as wonderful experience as my bridal shower!
