You will 99% have to bring her in, just so they can be sure it's really pink eye, and not just an irritation or something like that.

I did 4 trips to the ped. in the last week and a half, I totally feel your pain. Chat Icon

Haven't you ever seen the fancy cars they're driving around in?? I'm sure he/she loves you for it Chat Icon In all seriousness, though, that's what they are there for! Don't be embarrassed, you know there are moms out there who call in every time their child farts, just to make sure it's normal! Chat Icon

My ped called it in for my kids a few weeks ago -- I had been there already twice that week because the twins were sick earlier in the week.

We had a month like that this winter. We had a cold, then a bacterial infection, then RSV.. Each required mulitple re-checks. It was soo crazy. Everyone at the office knows me by name now.. my kid is only 10 months.

I think every parents has a week or two like that at the ped. But, they will make him come in. And for the record.. my Ped just told me she is seeing a TON of pink eye so it's going around. She is also seeing a ton of lice! I know it's in my school so watch out for that. Chat Icon

Pink eye is going around big time! My DD finally just got over it, but my DS and I still have it.

I called the Ped and told them the symptoms and they said that it wasn't necessary that I come it, that they would just call in the drops to the pharmacy.
