Pink Tells Fat-Shaming Twitter Trolls She Is "Not Worried" About Her Apparent Weight Gain: "I Feel Beautiful"

People are disgusting. They consider this to be fat. And even she was why do this a$$holes think it's ok to say this shit? I will never get it.




Pink issued a "F--kin' Perfect" response to body-shaming bullies.
The singer-songwriter, 35, and her husband, BMX rider Carey Hart, 39, posed for pictures on the red carpet at the John Wayne 30th Annual Odyssey Ball at Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel Saturday. Pink wore a black dress that featured a plunging neckline, but sadly, not everyone liked the pop star's look.
"I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight," the "Get This Party Started" singer tweeted Sunday. "You're referring to the pictures of me from last night's cancer benefit that I attended to support my dear friend Dr. Maggie DiNome. She was given the Duke Award for her tireless efforts and stellar contributions to the eradication of cancer. But unfortunately, my weight seems much more important to some of you. While I admit that the dress didn't photograph as well as it did in my kitchen, I will also admit that I felt very pretty. In fact, I feel beautiful."
"So, my good and concerned peoples, please don't worry about me. I'm not worried about me. And I'm not worried about you either," Pink continued. "I am perfectly fine, perfectly happy, and my healthy, voluptuous and crazy strong body is having some much deserved time off. Thanks for your concern."

Pink tweeted a picture with her 2-year-old daughter, taken just before the event. "Willow said to me the other day whilst grabbing my belly-'mama-why r u so squishy?' And I said..'b/cuz I'm happy baby,'" she wrote. The musician also tweeted a picture from the event with Hart, telling fans, "and my hubby says 'it's just more to love baby' (and then I smack his hand off my booty cause we're in a supermarket)."
The three-time Grammy Award winner, who has sold over 40 million albums worldwide, spent the rest of the afternoon retweeting and responding to messages that promoted body positivity:

I finally saw who this Amy Schumer person was who hosted the MTV Movie awards last night and he main schtick is her weight... where is she fat? I wouldn't mind having her body! It's sad she can't see herself as beautiful because of these ridiculous beauty standards.

Her DD is so pretty, I can't believe she's 4!!

I think P!nk looks fine, I think people are just use to seeing her really ripped up and in amazing shape, she looks more "normal" here.

I have always loved her as an artist, but I always thought she had a skanky dirty look -

LOVE her reply. She looks awesome. Not at all fat - she was never your typical sickly rail to begin with! If you ever saw her perform you can tell she has an incredibly strong body.

Looks like she lost all her muscle definition which was very muscular. Definitely not fat, she looks good. I don't like that dress as much as the term fat-shaming.

She was never a svelte little waif. Always really buff and fit. Her body is naturally that way and nothing wrong with it.

Ridiculous for people to say she looks fat. Not even remotely so...The dress is a poor choice, too much fabric on the bottom and it's not to the floor so kind of cuts her down and she is small to begin with..., think it would look better on a taller person but she looks so happy so who cares.
