She is making $$$$ on appearances. She was a NY wedding band singer prior so maybe she has some cash saved up.

Yup! And like you said, she's done multiple appearances since Idol so I'm sure there is plenty of income.

I agree in not believing everything you read or hear.
BUT fame does change people....
Especially when it is an overnight "Rags to riches" story.
Just because she wasn't a snob before AI doesn't mean she isn't one now

I like her. Don't care why she is with Mark Ballas, even though I don't like him. She can sing - really, really sing. That's why I like her. Hope the arrogance rumors are false and I wish her well, would like to hear her on the radio. And as for her designer bags, lots of NY girls, including Howard Beach girls, wear designer bags. She had a job before Idol so I'm guessing she had those already. Just saying.

I agree. I am always surprised when people comment on her bags and shoes. She is not a teenager, she is an adult with a job - many women on here post about buying those brands all the time.
A lot of my friends wear designer stuff, I am just not into it and never have been but before I was married and had a baby, I could have splurged too!

Ditto..I don't see why it even matters! You don't have to be a celebrity to own/wear those things.

Agree with this.
I didn't watch AI this year but heard so much about her being so gorgeous that I looked her up.
I keep trying to see it- looking really hard for it- but IMO she is just average looking.
Not to scream at.

ITA! Who cares that she has designer bags and shoes? As long as she's not stealing them what difference does it make. I'm sure she has money saved up and she's getting paid now for her appearances. And maybe Mark is buying her stuff. I say good for her!
As far as dumping the BF as soon as she became famous, I had read that they were on the outs for a long time and that she didn't really want him around. He kept showing up and trying to stay with her. They were on again/off again and all that stuff. Personally I don't think it's a big deal at all.

They are a werid couple but to each thier own.
I think the girl can sing but like a few others have mentioned I don't think she is gorgeous. She is pretty but nothing that makes me look twice at her.
