Photo Prop...need opinions
We are doing a newborn photo shoot and I came across this prop and thought it was so cute but then thought negative things if you know what I mean. Being an angel means not being here, am I over thinking? lol

To be honest, I just think there are other REALLY cute props out there that are just as nice and then it takes out the concern you have about overthinking what it could look like.. etc.
I know I have my personal experiences under my belt now so if it were ME .. I wouldn't use it with my next one.. HOWEVER.. I'm totally aware that I just might be biased in that area!!
Basically, I think if you like it then go for it but I think there are other props out there that are just as good or even better!  I love the little girl ones where they're wearing hats  I will totally do one like that if we have a girl next........ Either way, I'm sure the pics come out beautiful!

many photographers have angel wings, but personally i couldn't use them on any child.

never have been a fan of babies dressed as angels for that exact reason. i wouldnt do a photo shoot like that at all but thats jmo.
My mil loves angels and has them all over her house. i get all wierded out - but again thats just me

I saw the angel wings on etsy....and I thought it was cute. I didn't think of the negative aspect until you just brought it up to me....so now I'm on the fence too!

Me too- didn't even think about it!
I tend to overthink too- I decided against the bedding we picked bc it was a Mommy deer and her fawn- no Daddy in the picture and I thought it was bad luck to buy it!

Nope would never use angel wings.
My cousin did this with her daughter when she was a baby and she passed away at 4yrs old. She had to take down the picture because it hurt too much to look at it.

I wouldn't use it. I am superstitious. There are other props that you can use. Just wouldn't recommend using this ! IMO !

I don't even CALL my child an angel because of the negative thoughts that I associate with it. Sorry, I wouldn't do it.

wow, I'm all flipped out now that I used these in a shoot with Sydnie at 10 months old.  I never thought about it that way, but if you do, then I wouldn't use them.

I would pic a prop that shoes more of your beautiful dc. I feel like the wings cover too much of their body. I would want to see chunks, rolld, folds, wrinkles etc. That is just me..
