Opinions on photo restoration...

Hey all,

I need to have a wedding photo of my parents restored, it's the only one they have of them in the limo and it's a picture I'd like to re-create with FH.

So I went to two places in the city and was quoted $100 and $125. and that's only for restoration and two copies 5x7's


I did a search online and most companies are in this ballpark maybe alittle cheaper but no much. The hiccup is that I'd have to send them the only original in the mail?? I am worried what if it gets lost? my parents dont even remember the name of their photographer

So should i play it safe and just spend the money and have it done in a place I can hand deliver it too? or send it in the mail and save some money, the price difference is about $25 bucks.

I just inquired at a local photographer to have this done for my mom with one of my baby pictures. (A 5x7, and you get the original back.) Fifty bucks!!
