Personal question for ladies
have you ever missed a period due to stress or hormonal changes or anything?
or from over excercizing?
(this has nothing to do with pregnancy, i am not pregnant)

It may be happening to me right now!!! My dad was very ill for two weeks this summer and almost died, it was VERY stressful and now I'm late... and I'm def. NOT PG.
I hate it when this happens but it has happened to me occasionally.

Not since starting BC pills but before that I often missed periods. And the stress of being late or missing it made me even more stressed.

Stress, weight gain, weight loss have affected AF for me. The only one that made me miss completely was weight gain

Hormones play a huge part-some miss it, some get it... I have had it since 08/14. Whenever I get stressed I start bleeding and it doesn't stop for weeks or months!
I agree, try the pill....

yes about 3 years ago I did not get a period for 3 months due to stress...I went to my gyno after the 3rd month because I became concerned..had my hormone levels done..went home..went to bed..got up in the morning and got my period...it has been regular since..all my tests were normal..so they chalked it up to stress..

Yes. When my grandfather died when I was a teenager, I didn't get my period for several months after! I was very close to him and was completely devastated when he passed.

It's been delayed by a week from stess.
Generally, I'd think that missing a period would be more from being underweight than from overexcersing.
