Past Ectopic: I think I'm pregnant again
Well ladies, next month was going to be the month DH and I officially started TTC again after my ectopic and tube removal on August 1st. We were just feeling ready again. We went to the RE this past month and she did a sono and saw that I was ovulating on my RIGHT side which is the side I do not have a tube. There were NO signs of Ovulating on my left... So she said we can start trying next month since it is very unlikely I'd get pregnant this month since I was ovulating on the side with no tube.
THIS MORNING I TOOK TWO DIFFERENT PG TESTS (because I am a day late) and they both came out with BFPs!!!
I want so badly to be excited and let myself be happy, but I'm so afraid to get my hopes up because statistically, once you have one ectopic, the chances for another are good, unfortunately. If any of you have words that might help me, please share! Anyone that is willing to pray for us and for this pregnancy to be viable, we truly appreciate it!

First of all, congratulations on your BFP!!!!
I can sympathize with your feelings of pessimism since we just got a BFP yesterday and have had a m/c in the past. I think all you can really do is have faith that what is meant to be will be. Unfortunately we have no control over this and we must rely on our hope and faith. I've been trying to have a positive mental attitude and hope for the best! I wish you a happy and healthy 9 months!

Oh Terry - OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have you called the doc??? Get thee to the RE right away...
They are VERY likely open today - so give them a call, they are going to want to have you come in for weekly bloodwork and u/s's once the right time is there....
Even though you had NOTHING done with them - they are likely going to want to 'keep you'...(this is what happened with me)...until at least 8 weeks, maybe 9 or 10...
FM me if you have any ????? - we were released from the RE 2 weeks ago!!!
CALL THEM!!!!!

Terry that's wonderful news!! I know how you feel. You don't want to let yourself get excited. But the good thing here is that you can monitor it very closly this time so if anything happens it will be early.
Don't be worried. This is a good thing. A blessing! If you ovulated from the side with no tube and you got PG then you can't have an ectopic again bc there was no tube on that side.

I posted on your thread on the TTC/MC board. It IS possible to get pregnant with only one tube even if you ovulate on the side that there is no tube. Sometimes, in these cases the tube that you do have can reach over and grab the egg when you ovulate. So it's NOT impossible to get pregnant if you ovulate on the side of no tube.
