one year old suddenly a picky eater

Is this normal?? I want to scream! He was such a good eater- ate anything I gave him and seemed to like everything (except eggs). In the past couple of weeks he has become picker and pickier. I can barely get veggies in him, and he's eating less meats, too. I'm afraid that he's not eating enough. Given a choice, he'd eat fruit, chicken nuggets, grilled cheese and yogurt. Is this a phase? Any advice on how I can get him to eat?

definitely normal. DS was such a good eater. about 13 months it stopped and at 18 months hes still picky!!
