one thing I don't understand(facebook related)
is why some people request you as a friend or ask you to request them and then never even say hi
 or respond to any of your comments or notes or whatever else there might be.
As I have said I don't really have too many friends on FB bc most my friends are on myspace and they like it more. But I do have some friends on FB and I get kind of annoyed with few.
Does this happen to anyone else? or do people just not like me  Do you just delete people like that?

I think some people get caught up on the number of friends they have. I blew out my friend list for one of the games/applications so when I went to clean that up, I also deleted people I have no contact with.

I swear I was going to post this today!!!! I could see if I requested them as friends and they didn't like me, but for them to request ME then never say 'boo' is weird. I've decided they just wanna lurk at my pictures and gossip about me

My theory on this is that they'e just more curious to see what's going on in your life than really catching up and reconnecting.
My profile is private so in order to really see anything, like my wall or pictures, you have to be my friend.
So if I get a friend request from someone I went to HS with and accept it but never hear from them, that's my assumption.
I have to admit, I've done this myself!! What can I say, curiosity killed the cat!! 
ETA: There are also times that I send a friend request and the person accepts it but it takes me awhile to get to sending them a note on their wall or a message saying hi.

I have to admit I am guilty of doing this. The honest truth is that there are some people I really have no desire to reconnect with, but I am curious to see what they look like now, what they are into, if they have a family, etc. Its been done to me plenty of times and doesnt really bother me.

It does bother me though that people that I never spoke to in HS, but knew who they were, send me friend requests...

Yes and that is exactly why I deny them...I have no desire to have hundreds of friends.

I know what you mean, I have people on facebook also who dont comment or say "Hi" to me, But than again i'm one of those people too, I go on my 'friends" page and do comment and than there are times i dont.. KWIM... I just get so busy going between facebook, e-mails, Lif that i dont realize that i should go on my "Friends" pages to just say hey... I'm going to start doig that more now.Thank you for posting this.
