It's been around for a while, but I think the more ridiculous MySpace gets, the more appealing Facebook looks
I just joined Facebook recently too.

no it's been around for awhile...in fact i had myspace first...my younger cousin said facebook is better..I didn't believe her but now im kind of liking it....ill probably delete myspace soon

Should I join? A friend of mine is pressuring me. I am hesitating because it's one more thing to suck away my time and I am sure there are people out there who will "find" me when I don't want to be found by them.

If you don't want to be "found" don't sign up. It is 10000 times better for finding people than myspace. The only good thing is you can "ignore" peoples friend requests if they do find you.
I switched from Myspace to Facebook about 6 months ago and way more ppl found me on Facebook.

i've never liked myspace, i find it boring!
its much easier to find people on facebook because people use their real names for their page, and its more streamlined. no annoying graphic backgrounds or music that plays automatically at inopportune times.
plus facebook has games

I joined facebook recently too after my sister and one of my best friends kept telling me about it. I don't even check myspace anymore. I find it so much easier to find people via facebook - I've gotten in touch with a handful of people from high school I haven't seen basically since graduation!

FB is great. It has been around for a while, and I like it bc it is a lot more contained then MySpace. No one can look at your page or contact you if they are not on your friends list. You really re-connect with tons of people that you havent seen in ages.

I use it...Like it more than MySpace...MySpace gives me a creepy feeling for some reason. I feel Facebook is more respectable...I don't know why

I was hesitant to join for a while and finally did. It took me a little while to "Get it", but, I got it and love it.
To me, now, MySpace is a bit boring. I have found so many more people on Facebook.
