Well it's definitely not Sawyer -- because this is the synopsis for episdode 6:
Synopsis
Jack makes a decision regarding Ben's offer; Kate feels helpless when it looks like Pickett is going to make good on his threat to kill Sawyer; Locke discovers a hidden message that may help unlock the island's secrets.
It's either going to be Hurley or Eko, I think. Possibly Sayid.

I think Eko is a good bet.
All the other Tailies are gone. He served his purpose in making Locke question himself and got Charlie back on the right track.
Once you've outlived your usefulness on the island say goodbye.
Hurley has waaay too much backstory to tell still and has ties to everyone.
Locke is a central figure in rescuing Jack and company.
And the Kate/Sawyer/Jack storyline is what a lot of people tune in for so they would be dumb to kill any of them.

I hate to say it because I like Eko's character, but I'd rather it be him than Sayid.
And since episode 5 focuses on Eko, it's possible that it's him.
Synopsis for episode 5:
A delirious Eko wrestles with past demons; some of the castaways go to the Pearl station to find a computer they can use to locate Jack, Kate and Sawyer; Jack does not know who to trust when two of the Others are at odds with each other.

Lets not forget what state Ekko was left when we last saw him. He was basically beef jerky to the polar bears. There still hasnt been any mention of Sayid, Sun or Jin.
My vote either goes for Ekko or Sun (retribution for her killing the other)

Just found this also on a cnn article earlier this month
Survival seems like a long shot -- but Eko and Locke are under contract. And Cusick is now a series regular. They gotta come out of this alive, if not somewhat -- somehow -- changed. Plus, ABC says Locke will team up with Sayid (Naveen Andrews) and others to try and rescue their comrades.
So who does that leave now?

Wait, I wanted to add. On the season finale of season 2, Hurley was let go to warn the others. Then on the second episode of season 3, he returns to camp. How did he get from the "others island" to the his island and not tell anyone?
