if you were close to the bride and were pregnant and invited to her bachelorette party, which would be more appealing to you
a spa day
or
dinner in the city

Never having been pregnant.... I'd still say spa day. To schlep all the friends into the city is frustrating to begin with. Go for the relaxation.

I am definitely NOT pregnant  , but my friend has the same situation with her bachelorette party. We went out to dinner first and afterwards the pregnant bridesmaids/friends went home and the the non-pregnant people went out to bars afterwards. it worked out really well for everyone!

i wouldn't go to a spa day personally while pregnant... you can't get massage without doctors permission and your skin, hair and nails are all in a funk when you are with baby! i 'd opt for the dinner.

I was pregnant for bachelorette parties. However, my job as a pregnant friend was to dance, laugh, NOT COMPLAIN & be the designated driver.

I would go for spa day. I am pregnant and would love a day of relaxation. They could get their nail and toes done and a lot of places have pregnancy massages.

You could also do dinner locally on Long Island and then have a limo pick you guys up after dinner and take you into the city for drinking, dancing, and debauchery  THat way the pregnant girls are all close to home and non-pregnant ones can enjoy the city!

I have never been pregnant so please forgive my ignorance. Would it be possible for the pregnant women to get a foot massage?

I don't think so, there are pressure points in the foot that can trigger labor.
There are prenatal massages, but I was way too nervous, it wasn't worth the risk of preterm labor to me.

Not pregnant but for my bachelorette party we did a spa day & everyone loved it. It gave us all a chance to relax & get pampered. Plus I had my SIL with me who is a mommy & she loved getting herself taken care of for the day....

Why can't you do the spa with everyone during the day, maybe even dinner and then you and your other friends/BM's go out??
For my bach party we did dinner on friday because I was somewhat in the same situation as you. Then saturday the rest of us went to AC.
