ok i need ideas for family vacation
so one of my vacations for this summer is interferring with something more important that we have to do so we have to cancel it. i need ideas on a vacation for kids.. i'm thinking lake george, hilton head nc, myrtle beach, something i can drive to ... any ideas??
oh this would be like the last week in june into july thanks!

Love family vaca's in the summer. Can't go wrong with Lake George, Canada (Niagra Falls), Maine, Vermont, or Hershey Park, PA. Actually, we drove to Canada and saw Niagra Falls then stopped at Lake George on the way back so you get to see two places that are fun.

You can rent a Beach House on the Jersey Shore. We did a few years ago and loved it.
It is very reasonably priced compared to Fire Island and the Hamptons.

i was gonna suggest this, too! i grew up in NJ and we went to the shore a lot.
Ocean city, NJ is a really nice, family friendly town. its got a great boardwalk with rides and games and stuff.. and its a dry town, so theres no bars or liquor stores on the island, which helps keep away a lot of the sketchy crowd. its also not too far from AC so you can check that out, too.
Long Beach Island is a nice area, too... no boardwalk, but theres a small waterpark there thats fun.... let me know if you have any questions

We're thinking of Wildwood Crest, NJ Wildwood is more of a party town and Crest is a dry town ,so we were thinking N. Wildwood so we could still find a place to have a few drinks for dinner. We stayed in Cape May also and loved it there as well.
