So here is my update ladies!
Went to the Dr. for my 40 week appt. She's low and doing well but my amniotic fluid was very low. So as soon as DH gets here we are headed to the hospital to get induced and have this baby. I'm so super nervous now. I'm gonna be a mom!!!

I went to the dr yesterday and she's willing to wait until this weekend because everything looks good. She said she absolutely won't let me go past 41 weeks though. I went to acupuncture today and I'm hoping that will stir something up but still nothing. How much do people usually walk to help move things along?

I went to accupuncture today too. Not sure if it will work but it def relaxed me. I feel like a new person. I am so stressed about my pending induction and this def helped.
What did you think of it though? I was def tense at first and some things scared me. i.e. she did needles in my lower back to stim my uterus. She used some battery operated thing to keep the needles triggered. I didnt feel it much but I was nervous about the electrodes. Then she also did needles all over my body and 2 in my lower belly. I had to lay on my back which was uncomfy but eventually I asked her if I could turn a bit. Anyway I am curious how your experience was, I may FM you!

I'm going in for my Csection first thing tomorrow morning so I'm getting nervous and excited. I can't believe that by this time tomorrow my little girl will be here!

Good luck to all our laboring Mommies!! We are on schedule for our c/s on Friday, had our doc appt today and baby scored 8 out of 8 with good fluid levels so that was great to hear. She is measuring a bit big so I was glad my fluid is OK. DD got to go with me and see some of her face in the u/s :) Its tough carrying a breech baby again, I can hardly breathe by this point in the pregnancy and am so ready to take a deep breath again once she is born!
Helen, will be sending baby dust to you as soon as you are ready!!

anyone else getting lots of pressure/braxton hicks/baby moving all of a sudden? Today she feels like she's going to pop out my belly she's so active, and she's been in such a lull recently....
weight gain....... as of today half a pound up from January....... versus #1 being 65lbs of gain

I walk all the time, it's not making anything happen! I usually walk about 2.5 miles.
With my daughter I finally went in to labor after walking 6 miles, but I don't have the time for that right now...my 2 year old would never sit in the stroller for the amount of time it would take me to walk 6 miles 
Hope the acupuncture helps also. I had acupuncture 2 days before I delivered my DD...if nothing happens by the end of this week, I may go that route again because I would really like to avoid being induced. Good luck!

i can't believe how many of us already had babies or are currently in the process of laboring!
i have a doctor's appointment this afternoon but as of last week, i was not progressing at all.
I'm getting REALLY nervous about having the baby though ... not about L&D necessarily, but about life in general with a child. I'm not sure i'm ready for the changes ... oh well - too late now

My daughter, Audrey Marianna, was born this morning 10/10 weighing 8lbs. It was a scheduled csection since she was breech. I was so scared going into it, but it went very smoothly and once they had her out I honestly didn't pay any attention to what they were doing to me behind the curtain. DH and I are already so in love and in awe of her. Will try to post a pic once I go home.

I can relate! Even though I already have a DD, our lives are so settled now (my DD is 5), that I am kind of freaking out about how our world is about to be turned upside down!!

Had an internal today @ 37 weeks..I'm 1 cm dilated and my doctor dosn't think I'll make it to my due date on the 31st...i hope she comes early!!

I know what you mean MrsKelly, but I donnnnnnnnnt want to be induced. I'm 39 weeks tomorrow and have GD, so I doubt they'll let me go past my due date. I NEED some progress!
I'm petrified of labor altogether...but I'd rather it be on my terms!
