Can I just say that I can't wait to make it to 2nd trimester! I'm so nervous and walking on eggshells...8 wks, 4 to go! and the bloat doesn't look cute, either  i feel like i am sporting a beer belly, come on baby bump!
I am right there with you!! and I'm over 2 weeks behind you!! I keep thinking it's not "real" yet until I hear a heartbeat, super nervous for my appointment tomorrow!!

anyone else get passing headaches?? i get them and they are instantly followed by a wave of nausea and then they are gone  am i alone in this??

try taking vitamin B, it can help w/ headaches (magnesium oxide helps w/ headaches too but I don't know if it's ok to take during pregnancy)....feel better!! I only get a headache if I get too hungry.....so maybe try eating more smaller meals throughout the day.

yay! it's so great to hear the heart beat, isn't it?
I am seeing a new doctor on Monday, should be 8 wks 6 days. Praying that all looks good. The next 4 weeks cant pass fast enough!

I went for my first sono yesterday! It finally feels real. We saw the heart beat and the rate is 190!!!
Everyone thinks its a boy based on the heart rate. The baby looks like a kidney bean in there!

wow! I think your due date is 2-3 weeks ahead of me, but they told me last night the heart rate should be around 120 by next week's sono (at 7 weeks)....but I wonder if there's any merit to the heart beat thing w/ gender! Do you plan to find out the sex? You'll have to let us know if it proves true for you!

I thought it was fast but the tech said it was normal. My girlfriend is pregnant too. at the 8wk sono the HR was 170

I met with a new doc today at the Woman's Pavillion in HB. She just spoke to me while the nurse took my blood and the sono tech took some pictures of the bean. My due date has been changed yet again, I am now due October 5th. I'm 9wks pregnant and I can't wait to make it to the second trimester and breathe a little easier.

first trimester is really scary ... it's weird because when i first saw that BFP, i was scared to death and had no idea if i was ready to be a mother ... now i can't imagine what i'd do if i wasn't going to be one!
As much as i hate all these doctor appointments, i wish there were more of them so i could be 100% sure everything is ok!

But- for today i will be excited and go back to holding my breath/being petrified tomorrow.

Yes it sucks being so early on and you're left to wonder if everything is ok and growing as it should.....I've been lucky they've wanted me to come back every week to monitor the large cyst on my left ovary so at least I get a weekly sono update on little bean!!! Otherwise, I honestly don't know how I'd be sane right now!!!

back from my 2nd sono, measuring 7w and my due date is oct 25th still we heard the heartbeat is was 133bpm, DHs face when he heard it was priceless  so for now i can give a big sigh of relief and try and relax

I. CANNOT. STOP. EATING!!!!
I feel like such a pig. The other night I went to McDonalds and had a 10pc nuggets, mac wrap, med. fries & a cheeseburger with extra pickles! AND I was still hungry!!!
WTF is wrong with me? I was not like this with DD!
