Just wanted to update--- I picked up the envelope with the gender in it just a bit ago, and lasted only until I got home before I tore it open……
I am beyond thrilled to say we are having a healthy baby GIRL!!!

Ok so is there anyone else here who does not know the sex? We didn't have any of the other testing done and the doctor won't say anything until our 20 week u/s. I go this week for my 16 week but there will be no u/s
I dont know yet either. We didnt have the blood test done and at the earlier ultrasounds the tech wouldnt even venture a guess. We go for a 17 week ultrasound in a week or so and we're hoping we can squeeze it out of them then. If not, we have to wait until June 30th for the Anatomy scan.

My DH told me last night he has to be away for a week, starting two days after my due date.
My due date isn't very certain (no LMP). It's based on sono, but there is about a week range we might have conceived during. I'm nervous baby won't come before he is supposed to leave.
And, my other stress is DH has thinks we HAVE to move before baby comes, which I really want too, but we haven't found anything yet...
DH said it's OK he'll be away because we'll have moved already and my mom will have a room to stay :)

Are you going to be a scheduled CS? If not and you plan to go into labor, I would really not be ok with DH leaving town two days after your due date. You could certain go late. Could he get home right away if you went into labor while he's away?

If I haven't had the baby yet, he might not go. But, it's an important training session that he had to pass on last year because of a family issue...so, we are hoping he gets to go. I guess he could go and come back if needed. That's a good idea. I forget where it is, but he could always fly back. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll need to reschedule the session.

I started getting BH contractions this week. Anyone else get them this early? With my son I got them starting at 15 weeks, so very close to the same time. So uncomfortable!! I'm trying to drink lots of water, but its hard and then I have to pee constantly.

I have felt some mild tightening at times. Not sure if that's full on BH though. We definitely better keep drinking in this heat. It's hard for me too, I'm not a big drinker and I hate having to go pee every hour.

I've never had BH with any of my pregnancies. I feel an occasional pain in my side with this one. I don't think it's BH. I think I'm just getting stretching pains.

Just wanted to update - we had a sonogram today at 15 weeks 5 days and they confirmed it's a girl! everything looks good so far.
How are the rest of you ladies doing? Anatomy scans coming up? I can't believe we are almost half way there!
