Re: OFFICIAL July Mommies THREAD

Had my 34wk visit today. Baby is measuring 5lbs 4oz. I have gained a total of 5lbs so far this whole pregnacy. Feeling good feet are a little swollen when standing for long periods and also itching in the arch. 5 more weeks until I would have to be induced due to the gestational diabetes and 6 more weeks until actual due date. Nusery is still not painted, DH plans on painting this weekend. Furniture and Glider to be delivered June 30th can't wait. Hope everyone else is good. Getting excited to see my little man.

Re: OFFICIAL July Mommies THREAD

Just had my 36 weeks visit. Nothing special. Heartbeat sounds good, baby is measuring big, and he's in position. When I went for my NST on Friday they said I was 2 cm dialated and 75% effaced, but they won't check me again until Thursday when I go for my next one. They did say on Friday that they thought I would go by Monday, and here Monday is and I am not having any significant contractions. So we will see.......

How is everyone else doing??

Re: OFFICIAL July Mommies THREAD

As posted earlier..I am having a 3d sono tonight to hopefully be able to see something, if not I will have to hold out and wait the 5 weeks or so till I can hold DS in real life.

Tomorrow I have my 35 week appt.

I am so uncomfortable. I have had horrible round ligiment pain as pressure. Its so bad I can barely get out of bed.

Re: OFFICIAL July Mommies THREAD

July 10- Lenox Hill

Went for the Strep B test today... oh joy!

I'm doing OK, just have a heat rash on my chest. This is probably not going to go away any time soon.

I'm reading all the posts and now I feel like my baby is so small and tiny! They did say last week that they're sending me for another growth sono at 36 wks and if her weight isn't where they think it should be, they will schedule me for a c/s and take her out of me to grow. At 32 wks she was 3lbs 10oz. I need her to be over 5lbs by next Tuesday!

Other than that, they will schedule me for a c/s the week of July 3-10 but I don't want that. I want to go into labor naturally. (Well, I say that now, but wait until July gets here and no baby, I'll probably be screaming to sign me up!)

Baby's room is almost done, but... funny thing- the furniture smells like pee! DH and I are trying everything to rid this smell as I hate to call and complain and have them take it back! I thought it'd be gone by now, but it's not Chat Icon

Bought a robe this past weekend to pack in my hospital bag. I'm soooo done being pregnant! I just want to hold this baby and kiss her all over already! Chat Icon

Re: OFFICIAL July Mommies THREAD

Went for my 36 wk appt today, did the strep test (not so bad); first internal, again not so bad. Spotting some now (she said that's to be expected).

Had sono too....baby measuring 6lbs., 6 oz. (she said right on schedule).

They were a little concerned that my fluid was a bit low, so she sked me for another sono next Tues. She also wanted me to monitor baby's movement.

Baby's in position, but I'm not dilated/effaced at all.

Re: OFFICIAL July Mommies THREAD

Had my shower in May. Everything is finally all put away- just need baby! Chat Icon

I was breech and Dr.'s waned me to schedule a c-section. I didn't want to, and I'm glad I didn't. Baby turned this week (35wk) which is a miracle, since I have an awkward shaped uterus! So, she's getting ready- YAY Chat Icon

I never thought I'd feel this way, but, I'm done being pregnant! I am soooo ready to hold and kiss this little angel! Especially since she's moving a lot more and kicking in different places since she moved.

I'm packing the hospital bag this weekend and we're officially as ready as we're going to be. Chat Icon Glider arrives today!

I had my shower in May too. We're finishing the room this weekend and picking up my girlfriend's bassinet she's lending us.

I have my hospital bag done. Also got a Brazilian wax-haha.

36 week appt on the 13th. I'm looking forward to that milestone.

Re: OFFICIAL July Mommies THREAD

Is MrsSchwags our first July mommy to give birth?

How are we doing ladies?

How did our growth sonos go?

Are you getting nervous?

Bags packed?

How are you feeling?

I have my 38 wk appt Fri. My fluid was low at 36 wks & they had me come back last week for another sono, but my fluid was looking good...thankfully. Baby was measuring 6lbs., 6 oz. at 36 wks.

Harder to walk/sit/stand, very uncomfortable, especially if I walk far or even in a store for a while.

Bag is basically packed.

Getting a bit nervous.

Re: OFFICIAL July Mommies THREAD

Yes, she definitely was the first July baby to go! EARLY!!!!

Baby is small, weighing in at 5lbs 4oz. So, we're watching her weight. I had a BPP today, 37wks exactly and all looks good. Dr. at the hospital just said, "She's long and skinny".

If she doesn't grow by next Tuesday, they want to induce me. (I don't want to be induced). So, we'll see.

Bag is packed and I'm 1cm dialated. Being I don't want to be induced, I am trying everything I can go get this baby to come out naturally.

Starting to get really anxious about holding and kissing this baby! I'm already so in love and I can't wait anymore!

Other than that, my bag is packed, clothes are washed, nursery is 95% done...... and now Im getting a bit nervous....

Really scared of labor......

Re: OFFICIAL July Mommies THREAD

Raspberry tea will be bought on the way home today...haha. I with ya, so ready to drop this melon. I have 19 days left...19 days too long. Working is tough, I'm so tired from not sleeping well and my back hurts. I was going to shoot for the 6th as my last day, now my goal is the 29th...I think I can, I think I can.

On the good side I found a great lady about 7 house down from me who watches children, she will have room in OCT for an infant (her limit of kids/infants is 4.) I'm pretty excited about that.

Need to put in the carseat, especially if I start the squat/tea regime (+ anything else to help.)
