Ava will be 3 in September and I just registered her on Friday for school for September. I signed her up for 4 days from 11- 3:30......I think she is going to love it. Just wondering what everyone else is planning on doing.....how many days/hours?

In D's daycare there are 2 preschools. It is part of the neighboring school district. She already goes to the preschool from 12:30 to 3:00 and then they move there to the 3 year old room when she's done. Next year will be the same just a different room.

Re: Nursery School...05 Mommies

Jacob goes now --2x a week from 9-1, and 1x a week from 9:30-11:30 in the toddler program...

In September he will be in the 3's-- going 4x a week 9-2, the 5th day we will be doing a sports class at Sportime... If I decide I can always add the 5th day..

The only reason why I was going to do 2 days is because he's never been to a school type environment and I thought I'd just give him a taste of it 2x a week.

Same here, he is going W&F from 9-12. Although he is going to be in class with 2 of my neighbors kids, he has never been away from me for that long a period. Once he hits 4 he will go 4-5 days. Right now I feel he is just to young

Re: Nursery School...05 Mommies

My son will be 3 in April and I plan on sending him some where in September for 3days 2/3hrs a day. However I'm not sure how it will work being he is now going to speech 3x a day right smack in the middle of the day. So we'll see.

For all of you that are sending your children are they potty trained already? That's another problem I'm having my ds is not and so far the schools I have called said they need to be potty trained Chat Icon But hopefully by Sept he will be.Chat Icon

Jacob is not potty trained right now he is 2.5 but he needs to be trained by September.. The way our school works is that if they are not, then you have to be available to change diapers.... Therefore I will be training him..

On another note, regarding the moms that think they might want another day or they have never been to school and away from you for a long period of time-- I would call the school and see if you are able to add days once the school year begins-- because I think you will be pretty surprised how well they do.. Sometimes it is more the parents that have a hard time with sending them than the kids themselves...

My Jacob just turned 2 in december... I am not sure what I am going to do as far as school goes. He already goes to a daycare/school 2x a week now for 3-4 hrs a day. (The days i work) I'm not sure if I should be sending him somewhere else on top of that come sept??? Chat Icon Not sure... have to think this one thru more.....

On a side note: I highly doubt he will be completely potty trained by sept anyway....Chat Icon
