Nicholas did it again! I can't believe it!
Just wanted to share another proud moment. Nicholas won the Reflections Contest in his school again...SECOND YEAR in a row.
Only 5 kids from all of k-2 were selected...and he was one of them! He won Honorable Mention and a gift certificate to Barnes and Noble.
He had to draw a "WOW" moment, so he drew a picture of him drawing a picture and said "Wow...I like drawing."
They do this in art class all on their own.
Just wanted to share some pics from the award ceremony this morning.

Oh how wonderful!!!! Way to go!!!!!
I have to say, Reflections is my favorite time of year in my school (I work in an elementary school - I'm on maternity leave this year). I am just amazed at the talent and I get the chills when I look at their work!!

He was so proud. It was so cute. He kept saying, "I can't believe I won this twice."
He's a good kid. He really is. I am so lucky.
