Thank you everyone..... It is starting to sink in with my son..... He is asking for his Daddy more and more.... I am also having a hard time with it more then when it happened... Nights are the worst... I am sleeping in my sons room on a cot because he needs me. I am trying to keep to our normal routine... I am so grateful to have so many people who care..

My heart breaks for you!! As hard as it is, having the strength for your son must be incredibly hard but so important. We recently lost my grandfather and my daughter was close to him. We speak of him as much as possible, My dd is 4 and I will always get where's Poppy? And I say with the Angels in Heaven. He is playing and having fun and you can say hello to him in the sky as much as you want. It is soo hard explaining it to a 4 year old. She kind of gets it now, but I dont think fully. I would try to get a good grief counseler for the both of you. Try to do fun things together. If you need anything please let us all know. We will try to help in anyway that we can. xoxox

Awe.... They kind of get it at this age but not the whole gist of it... When he asks, I just tell him he is an angel in heaven now... I have a child therapist I need to call next week and I am looking for a good grief counselor for myself...
I am keeping him busy as much as I can... And I need to tell my Mom and brother not to ignore his questions about where his Daddy is...

It has been a trying time for all of us... My son doesn't quite get it yet, but he knows Daddy is gone... He is having a lot of emotional issues now. He started to wet the bed a few days ago. He gets upset when I leave now...
We had a scare earlier this week when my mom ended up in the hospital. He just kept asking if she was awake. (he was the first one to see my husband when he passed away, but it looked like he was sleeping).... The ambulance came and he never saw him again. SO when the ambulance came to get my mom he freaked. We had to take him to the ER to show him she was ok...
Sunday marks 4 weeks and it is getting harder for me to be strong... I am waiting for my schedule to calm down a bit before I can commit to seeing a therapist on a full time basis..
I need to thank everyone who helped us out. Had to pay for all of funeral costs out of our sons savings account. My husband had a small life insurance policy, but they are contesting it so I may not see a dime of it.... Just taking things day by day....
