Newborn w/o a voice ... please help me!

My 6 week old DS has suddenly lost his voice! His cries are barely audible and it makes me terrified not to know when he needs something. I have a well-baby visit with the ped on Mon but what can I do in the meantime?

I'm afraid the doc is going to think he lost his voice from CIO-gone-wrong (which isn't the case!) Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Joey went horse a few times. He had a good crying fit one time the night before, the other time he was learning a new sound he could make and "overused" his voice. Did he have a good cry last night? (night before)
