newborn mommies... how much does your baby sleep?
Hello!
My DD is 5 weeks old, and some days she sleeps all day, and others she is awake all day.... is this normal at this age? When does a routine start to develop? Thanks!

My DD is 5 weeks old too. For the most part she sleeps all day and is alert at night

My DS is also 5 weeks and his sleep schedule is pretty good. He is alert for about 1.5-2 hours after his bottles during the day. Then sleeps for about 1.5-2 hours.
He gets his night bottle around 9 and sleeps until 1 AM-2AM. Then he is up again around 6 AM-7AM. People say I am lucky that he on this schedule. Of course there are days when he sleeps alot during the day and is awake more at night. I try to keep him up during the day and I am not quite, I vacuum, play music, leave the lights etc.
